Then unfortunately, came quarantine, due to COVID. Locked in the house with my partner, with nothing to do, we started eating more. Coming out of quarantine, I weighed 112.5kg. I visited my personal doctor because I didn't want to believe that I was the problem. My doctor sent me for tests, which only verified that I had indeed created the problem, since my blood sugar had reached diabetic levels.
That's when the alarm bell rang. My partner had an acquaintance who had seen amazing results with The 1:1 Diet and, although I didn't really think it would benefit me, I decided to start. The results were spectacular. In about 7 months I had lost 28.5kg and was back to myself. My blood sugar was normal and my cholesterol and triglycerides were better than before I started putting on weight!
